Adam has had a couple of slow days this week so we decided to make last night a date night. We went to an Italian restaurant for dinner and bought dessert to go. We came home and played some board games for 2-3 hours before we were both too tired to play anymore. Since he started doing the tech job again, there really hasn't been any time to play games with him. Even when he's not in the field, he has other work he has to do. It wa nice to spend some relaxed time with him.
He leaves the week after Christmas for two weeks. The first week will be spent in GA with his family and the second week will be training in North Carolina.
And I think I'm over the cold/stomach troubles that I came home from

How fun! Glad you got to see each other long enough to have a date. :) I know how that goes.
Do you know what you're doing while Adam is gone yet? You aren't biking in this cold are you? I'm such a whimp I can't even stand getting in my car and waiting for the heater to warm up.
Thanks for the photos of the dogs. Alex didn't see them yet, but the girls laughed and laughed while looking at them. Glad you're feeling better. (Sorry I asked the question on Facebook before I saw your post here.)
Isn't if fun to have a date night? It is always nice to hang out at home together... when those rare times come. But it is great to go on a real date! Hope you aren't snowed in up in Idaho! We love you!
I don't know what I'm doing while he is gone. I thought about driving out to the Sawtooth mountains one day but not in the snow so I'll likely just hang out at home and walk the dogs.
I haven't biked since coming back home. The roads have been too slippery and it's been pretty cold...30 degrees is about my lower limit.
A few nights ago, I asked Adam what he wanted to do. He said he wanted to play poker (not at home). I made a sad face and said "you want to leave us?" He told me he would play with me if I played so I told him that I would bike with him if he biked. He gave me a look that said he didn't appreciate that. I just laughed.
