We ate one each right away. Yummy! Aren't they beautiful! ;o)
Aside from the green beans, we also have:
a few spaghetti squash
a few butternut squash
several watermelon
several watermelon
and lots of bush bean blooms, carrots, an acorn squash and the tomatoes got their first bloom. The peas are growing but I don't think they'll give us anything this year.
I doubt it willbe a bumper crop year but since I wasn't going to have a garden this year and we got it planted so late, I am grateful for anything I get from it, and for the experience.

Yeah! Your garden looks beautiful. You keep it well-weeded and spaced good. love, andrea
Thanks. Initially, the weeding was taking forever but once I finally got caught up on it, I have only been having to do spot weeding so it isn't too bad...and now that I discovered one of the weeds is edible and a good substitute for spinach (which didn't make it), I will be letting that weed grow for eating too.
